Originally based in San Fransisco, Green Candy is a book publisher in Toronto, Canada. Despite our small team, we have published over 100 books in our 26-year run.
We publish the books that are often disregarded by other publishers for not being obvious, easy money or because the topics seem a bit too niche. It is our hope to bring the talent and knowledge of our authors to light despite any challenges. As a result, we have had the opportunity to work with some brilliant and unique people to produce books for an oft-neglected market.
Toronto is located in the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis. As a company, we would like to acknowledge and respect their histories, traditions, and their living cultures.
